“There must be something to acupuncture — you never see any sick porcupines.” - Bob Goddard.

Hi there! My name is Alicia, and I am a registered Acupuncturist.

I graduated from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine in 2016 with a diploma in Acupuncture & Moxibustion, and I am a registered member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). I’m also very fortunate to have been personally mentored by Matthew Colavecchia, our Clinical Director and owner at Acupuncture Works.

I treat various conditions and health concerns using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles of diseases and diagnosis and:

  • Acupuncture

  • Moxibustion

  • Cupping / Fire Cupping

  • Tuina

  • Gua Sha

  • TCM Nutrition

  • and Cosmetic Acupuncture

My clinical focus always centers on the body’s innate ability to self-regulate and self-heal. Using traditional Chinese Medicine principles and techniques, my treatment approach is to bring you back into a state of homeostasis so that your body remembers its powerful ability to heal and rebalance itself.

I genuinely care about my patient’s health and well-being and consider it my honour to help you through your healing journey.

When I’m not working, you can find me hiking in the woods with my dogs, paddling on the lake or in my garden cultivating medicinal herbs.
